Hiya! I'm Kim :) I help women build websites that finally look like the business they've become.

After 10+ years in product design and 6 job hops of my own, I know what it feels like to outgrow the version of yourself the world still sees. I started out building websites for founders years ago, loved it, got pulled into corporate, and have finally circled back to the thing I loved most.

Now I help women whose businesses have evolved make their online presence catch up - websites with personality that actually bring in the right clients.

A little more about me

Embracing life fully as a curious and adventurous soul

I started Skip & Soar 10 years ago with the goal of living your most authentic life.

In all honesty, there wasn’t really a plan for it and if you had followed my journey… it was ALL OVER THE PLACE. *Cough*, true serial pivoter!

From traveling to 30+ countries to leaving toxic work environments to career coaching to now… helping female founders build websites that match their wicked personalities and businesses.

Life has been a wild rollercoaster but I couldn’t have it any other way.

Some highlights include:

  • Running 3 full marathons before turning 30 (yes, all 42.2km x 3!)

  • Climbing Mt. Fuji (bruuuutal hike, but stunning sunrise)

  • Buying way too many one-way tickets in my life without a plan (wheee! it always works out)

  • Getting my Australian citizenship after living in Oz for 9 years (don’t worry, I’m still half Canadian!)

  • Creating a whole little human that is just as energetic as his mama

Before focusing on brand positioning and websites, I spent a year as a career coach for women in tech - helping them build confidence, communicate their value, and land dream opportunities.

Here are a few lovely words from some of my past clients…

    —Nhu, Project Coordinator

  • "I went into the interviews feeling confident that I had prepped the right materials. Kim has been my career cheerleader from day one!"

    —Viv, Senior Product Manager

  • "This program launched me into my job search and gave me the steps I needed to showcase what I'm really good at — I came away feeling way more confident."
