Hiya! I’m Kim. :) I help ambitious women land dream gigs that light up their soul.

After 10+ years in the tech industry, 6 job hops, and landing multiple six-figure roles, I've been through the full career rollercoaster. The soul-sucking jobs. The salary negotiations I almost talked myself out of. The moments of feeling totally stuck and unsure of what's next.

Now I help women find their skip again - that lightness and joy that comes from doing work that actually aligns with what lights them up (not just what looks good on paper!).

Because careers are long… and life's too short to spend them dreading Monday. ;)

A little more about me

Embracing life fully as a curious and adventurous soul

I started Skip & Soar 10 years ago with no real plan. In that time I managed to travel to almost 30 countries, leave toxic workplaces (with zero regrets), make a tiny rambunctious human, and figure out what I actually want from life and work.

Some highlights include:

Running 3 full marathons before turning 30 (yes, all 42.2km x 3!)
Climbing Mt. Fuji (bruuuutal hike, but stunning sunrise)
Buying way too many one-way tickets in my life without a plan (spoiler: it always works out)
Getting my Australian citizenship after living in Oz for 9 years (don’t worry, I’m still half Canadian!)
Creating a whole little human that is just as energetic as his mama
