It’s 1:17pm on a Wednesday and I fiiiiinally got out of bed and made it to a different place to “get some work done.”
I didn’t feel too well.
I’ve had headaches for the past couple of days.
I feel extra exhausted.
Maybe I caught a bug??? Idk.
I mean I did visit the loo like 4 times today so yeah, definitely something is eating away at my soul.
I thought if I took a shower, ate breakfast, drove to a library that has a bit of sunshine facing my way… then I would miraculously feel motivated to do work and be “productive”.
Oh, boy was I wrong.
My mind still feels wrapped in brain fog.
I’m STILL tired!
I definitely don’t feel motivated.
In fact, I feel like I just need to leave this place and curl up in my bed.
Boy, the only reason I miss working in a 9-5 is being able to wake up and send over a Slack message saying “Not feeling well today, gonna take the day off! 🤒😷”
And POOF.
You can rest to your heart’s content and still get paid doing that.
Lolol.
But I guuuuess there are some benefits of being your own boss (like creating unnecessary stress for yourself) buahahha.
All right, not sure why I decided to write this… but I wanted to let you know…
IT’S OKAY TO TAKE A REST DAY.
REST, REST, REST, SO YOU DO YOUR BEST! ✨
