Resurrecting Skip & Soar & hosting an IG Live!

Aloha! It’s December 1st (well, it’s 11:58pm so it’ll be December 2nd soon lol).

But it’s WILD how 2025 is almost ending ALREADY!

2025 was probably one of my favourite years so far…

I started the year excitedly thinking of business ideas and how I could help others.

Spent a few months creating the foundations of the business and then halting the work for a bit to spend cherished moments in Canada with my friends and family.

My baby was constantly surrounded by love and cuddles from his Canadian family!

I worked part-time for a bit as a new mum (went back to work 7 months postpartum instead of the original date around 12 months postpartum).

Quit my job around my baby’s first birthday.

Decided to do a soft launch of my business and shared a few reels of the Moonshot Women Accelerator which is a 6-week program that helps people get out of their toxic work environments and land their dream jobs.

Constantly questioned whether I wanted to continue doing this and getting into the Career Coach/Cheerleader space.

Realised I do have a knack for it as I watched my clients smash their goals.

Missed the crazy, unhinged vibes at Skip & Soar.

Decided to dance a lil bit on TikTok.

Still ran in circles around whether to post on @kimbocake_ or @skipandsoar or @moonshotwomen on IG.

Still don’t know the answer to that (lol).

But my gut is pulling me to post on @skipandsoar this month so let’s see where that takes me.

I also decided to write a bit and add an update on this blog.

I was speaking to a friend earlier and she encouraged me to write (thanks RM!) so here I am, doing the thing I used to LOOOOVE!

I’m also thinking of hosting an IG LIVE sometime on December for those who want to chat about life! Ask me any questions about what it’s like to be a new mama, the journey of becoming a mompreneur, and how life is treating me ever since I quit my job in September.

I think Sunday morning December 14th might be a good day (in Australia) which means it’ll be Saturday afternoon/evening December 13th for those tuning in from North America. ;)

By the way, I’ve NEVER hosted an IG Live thingy before so send your prayers my way and hope there aren’t too many tech issues.
